"The hotel is really nice and clean with reasonable rates. We had a one-day visit to Pondicherry, arriving around noon, and the hotel graciously allowed us an early check-in. The on-site restaurant serves decent South Indian food. Conveniently located on the highway to Chennai, a few kilometres from the French quarters of Pondicherry, it was perfect for our itinerary. We toured the town in the evening, returned to the hotel for dinner, and continued our journey to Chennai the next morning after enjoying an early breakfast included with the room."

"Misty Ocean is situated opposite Auro Beach, just before Auroville. The rooms are excellent, and the on-site restaurant is a great convenience. The staff and owner were very friendly and provided guidance on nearby attractions. We stayed in a garden view room, which offered a beautiful sight of coconut trees and a partial view of the beach."

"I booked this hotel directly and found it to be a peaceful retreat away from pollution and traffic, located just opposite Auro Beach. The sea view room was cosy, spacious, and well-equipped with various amenities. I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise from my second-floor room. The hotel offers ample car parking and serves tasty food in the lounge restaurant, tailored to your taste preferences, though it’s mid-range in quality. The staff, particularly Mr. Jayamurthy and his team, were very attentive throughout my stay. They also guided me to nearby attractions."
